Hey Guy's,
Hope your all okay?
So me and the other half are now settled into the flat which means - WiFi
That means that I will be back to updating my blog regularly.
(with a lifestyle blog introducing you to the new place coming soon.)
With all the stress of moving from Birmingham to down south has meant I have got major skin problems recently.
I never used to suffer with spots up until my transplant then they graced my face in the same places all the time.
My Chin and In between my eyebrows, and they've started scarring now - grr.
This lead me to browse the internet for hours trying to find a decent skin care routine that would improve my skin for good as I keep finding products then after a while they stop working, boo!
After a while I was lead to a article were Millie Macintosh (star of made in Chelsea) was talking about her favorite beauty products for the summer, when I discovered the brand "Manuka Doctor" which have a range of products which include purified bee venom which are proved to help trouble skin and eliminate blemishes.
PBV (purified bee venom) is a process which purifies the venom making it a concentrated source to use in products which have a cumulative effect, this means the effects of the product build up after each use.
(benefits of PBV taken from www.manukadoctor.co.uk)
After reading such amazing reviews of the products Manuka Doctor supply I decided to buy some from Superdrug.
To my surprise there was also a buy one get one 1/2 price deal on when I purchased them, which you can still access for some of the range here - http://www.superdrug.com/a-z-brands/manuka-doctor/icat/manukadoctor
After deliberation I decided I needed a new daily moisturizer so the first product I choose was the ApiClear facial moisturizing lotion.
This moisturizer is amazing.
I think I have finally found one that does exactly what it claims to do on the bottle!
Using this twice a day I've noticed a dramatic change, even after first application.
Its made my skin so soft and its glowing once i apply this product,I can't rave about it enough really.
I even use this under my night time moisturizer as I've noticed if i don't my skin looks rough the next day.
AMAZING
Aswell as the moisturising lotion I also purchased their make up primer, also with the PBV benefits in it.
This product is also just as gorgeous to apply as the lotion, and it has real mattifying effects on the skin,so would be perfect for oily skin but I have pretty dry skin so it has been making my skin a little too matte under my usual make up routine but on the flip side it has defiantly made my make up last in this hotter weather we've been having (can't grumble at that,no-one likes there foundation melting off !)
Now the only problem I find with this product is that due to it being a colored product that having fair skin it somehow makes round my hair line/ears orange in places.
It does blend out nicely on the majority of my face but I do stress about my make up being blended out perfectly so the fact it gathers on my hair line isn't fab.
I have found though on days I'm going for a more contoured and bronze make up look this primer works wonders and gives me a lovely base glow!
So overall its fab, just think my skin isn't suited to it all that well.
The other product which I'm constantly raving about - and on my third repurchase of,is my B.Pure Micellar Water!
And I love to use my simple eye make up remover along side it.
There both so effective and removing makeup - including waterproof makeup (added bonus!)
but are super gentle on skin.
There both under £5 each and work just as well as any high end products.
While at boots,I was browsing through the little travel size products as there are often great things to pop in your handbag when I found this little gem!
This sancuatry spa night concentrate is gorgeous,it smells lovely and is super moisturising yet it isn't too sticky like some night time creams I've found.
I will defiantly be buying this in full size as this has defiantly been improving my skins appearance, and tackling those dry areas.
Also great tip for on spots and blemishes I put on sudocream in the morning and evening on the blemishes as it is a antiseptic cream so will banish redness as heal your spots gradually!
So those are the products ive been using to get healthier - blemish free (ish) skin.
All products work ,so why not give them a try?
