Floral Crowns.. In Short Hair!

Hey Guy's !
Hope your all okay?
Today I figured I would write about something to brighten up yet another gloomy day - where has that gorgeous bank holiday weather gone ?

I have always been a fan of hair accesories but always having a bob or cropped hair your generally left with the choices of headbands..
Not all too exciting!

Thankfully over the last two years there have been a lot more ways to make short hair look a lot more exciting by adding pretty accesories.

This is currently the length and it is desperate for a cut and to have some layers cut back into it but you can see its finally growing out from the awkward cropped growing out stage!
But because it needs a trim I tend to wear it up..
Because of this I wanted something to 'jazz' it up a little.

I found this gorgeous floral crown in newlook for a steal at £5.
I loved the variations of colour on this one so thought it would go with alot of different outfits!

I wore mine with a neon lime crop top (minus the red bra straps pictured here ha ha)
For the McBusted concert I was going to (Review to follow eek!)

I decided to wear some green shades from the garden of eden pallete and tanya burrs exotic island lipgloss!

Im looking at floral crowns for bridesmaids for my wedding so would love if anyone can recomened any sunflower decorated ones!

Wedding Favours with Boomf*

Hey Guys!
Hope your all okay?
So I'm back with another "Talking Transplants Talks Weddings" .

If you follow my page over on Facebook you will have already known I was going to let you all know about an exciting concept for wedding favours!
I recently found out about a fab company called Boomf.

Boomf turn your instagram photos into...
Marshmallows.
Yep you read that correctly.
Instagram Photos < Marshmallows.

You simply go over to Boomf.com
where you will then be able to access yours or your friends instagram photo's and then you can choose 9 images to print onto these yummy canvases,
For Just £12 !

So when I discovered this I contacted the great people over at Boomf and they were lovely enough to send me a box* to review for you guys!
(Don't worry - I have a 10% Discount Code for you all at end...)

Your Boomf Marshmallows come in a nice matte white box,
(But I must add they come in a silver parcel bag on delivery!)
which opens up with a flip top to your marshmallows..

Photograph them?
Melt them over a fire?
Add them to a hot chocolate?
However you do it they will make you smile!

On top of your wrapped up marshmallows is a print out of all the photo's you have choosen,so as this was to use for wedding favour purposes I choose pictures of me and gareth!

And here are the delicous little treats!
Each marshmallow is 4cm x 4cm - So there not stingy with sizing which is great if your popping a box of these on each table for your guests..

So the quality of printing?
I honestly did not expect them to turn out this well considering there being printed onto a edible surface!

So just to show you what works best,I choose some black and white filtered photos as well as some coloured ones too.

Black & White

The black and white marshmallows printed excelently !
On the website they advise that you use images that are quite bright and not dark so I was unsure how these would turn out.
I think if your printing Black and White photos ?
Make sure they are nice and Bright and Light!
Anything Dark?
They won't print well.

Colour

I was worried that the coloured marshmallows would lack detail but I was so wrong!
These turned out perfect, and looked identical to the printed off images.
Boomf does say though try not to choose photos with large areas of darkness because it will print off lacking detail!

And then the next important factor is taste!
Do they taste nice?..

This is the box shortly after opening..
The answer is YES!
These marshmallows are so good - by far the best I have had.
They are very moreish though so it would be more then possible to leave these on a table so people could have a couple each!

Boomf Marshmallows are also Gluten Free & Suitable for Vegetarians.
Standard boomf are not halal but if you order a batch of more then 20?
They can prepare a halal batch for you = Boomf is suitable for everyone!

I think these boxes from Boomf would be perfect to use as wedding favours as you could leave them dotted around on the tables - perfect priced at just £12 and Boomf also can provide bulk pricing packages if you email them at eat@boomf.com.

You could even use these as save the dates for intimate family or maybe thankyou gifts for your bridesmaids?
Theres an endless amount of uses for this great gift!

They are accesible worldwide so why not pop a order in with boomf now using this 10% off code : BOOMF-ME-HAPPY

Great for Wedding Favours or Just Simply a Gift!

Impulse Purchases & Clever Sales?

Hey Guys!
Hope your all okay?
So Im currently sat out in the garden on a sunny-ish bank holiday chilling out while I know shopping centres all over will be jam packed with savvy shoppers shopping al the bank holiday sales!

Recently a company called Raise Contacted me about there fantastic website.
Raise is a marketplace for shoppers to buy unwanted and unused gift cards (Sorry UK readers, right now the site is only useable by our American Friends,But I was informed Raise are hoping to expand internationally soon!)

This great Idea got me thinking,as great as giftcards can be its never good when you get one as a gift for somewhere you'd never normally shop!
And I have been in the past too swap with my mom for cash if its for a store she would use - Oops.

The problem is being a blogger, your forever discovering new products your lusting over and end up splurging on - I have quite a few impulse blogger backed purchases !
So what do I do to make sure my money stretches?

I have to be honest I am generally pretty good at not impulse buying - but thats not to say I often find myself trying to convince myself why I needed that extra lipstick and give reasoning to why I just had to snap that offer up..

My Savvy Shopping Tips?

Don't fall for yearly subscirptions of Beauty Boxes..

I used to use these when I was first growing my collection, because they sound liek a right good deal BUT soon found I was spending my money on mostly samples and things I would never use...
So now?
If I recieve an email with a preview of products in the next box,I will get a one of month box! Otherwise I tend to stay away...
Save your money and instead buy something you know you will use!

Shop 3 for 2 Deals.

If your looking at getting a few new things try and get them during 3 for 2 deals.
This means you'll get to try them out and get one free!
One thing with this though?
Try and get products that are the same kind of price - this way you will be getting the most of the deal, because don't forget you alkways get the cheapest thing free so why get 2 things that are £15 then one which is £4?
Get that pallette you've been after for ages for free instead!

Use loyalty cards - dont just keep them in your purse!

I have two I use religously - Boots & Superdrug.
With these you collect points and then you can use them to get things in store!
I have used this since I was 17?
There fantastic to build your points up to save for christmas or occasions to buy those gifts you are abit short on cash to get!

Groupon & Virgin Experience.

Groupon is a great site to use if you want to get something for a saving !
Groupon sell lots of varied items,as well as experience days and holidays.
They have adjustments on prices for a day or so so its a speed sale in essence.
The only problem with this? You can end up buying lots of things that you'll never use just because the deal pulled you in - not good!

Virgin experience sells vouchers that enable you to have experience days,so photoshoots, helicopter rides and all that kind of thing.
Now I love getting these as gifts as they are available at budget prices and mean someone gains a memory of something fun.
The only downside of this great site is that they all have expiry dates on them - you need to book them asap to be sure you dont forget about them!

Really theres always lots of deals around but the problem is sometimes they can seem so good we don't want to miss out,but sometimes they're too good to b e true with lots of terms and conditions..

So if your going to buy something ?
Sure make the most out of deals BUT don't get pulled in by these great deals if your not going to really need what your buying - thats a waste of money!

Don't forget for my fab american readers, go check out Raise!
Maybe you have a gift card you have sitting around you wont use ? Go Sell it!
And need a gift card? Why not go buy one and help someone out!
